B S programme for Kattappana Branch was conducted with the co -operation of the
Church on 06-04-2015 &07-04-2015 at the Believers Church Kattappana. The
programme was inaugurated by Fr. Babu Paul with his prayer and message. Our
area manager Mr. K P Roy welcomed all the participants namely B O H Manager bro.
Davis and Dora Programme Executive Mr. Toms Mathew, Fr.Anil C Mathew, Pr.Saji, Shaji,
Binu, Mohanan, James, Social Worker of BOH Sajin Mathew and Dora staffs also
participated in the programme.
On
the first day about 155 children attended. Among them 100 were students between
the ages of 5-18 years. During the program students were divided into various
groups according to age. Group 1 also named as “Super Angels” consisted of
children between the ages of (3-8) yrs, Group 2 also named as “Super
Lions” consisted of children between the ages of (9-15) yrs. Group 3 also
named as “Super Warriors” consisted of
children between the ages of (16-18)
yrs. Every child was given a badge, song book, work book according to the
groups. Group 1 children were given crayons and group 2 and group 3 children
were given pen.
Classes
were led by our Branch Executives Ms. Rohini Jobin, and Ms. Lelamma Jose, Ms.
Sherin Jose, Ms. Ammini Saji, Ms. Aksa Babu etc.Action song was conducted by
Ms. Sherin Jose, Ms. Aksa Babu, Mr. Alex Babu, Mr. Sijo, and Mr. Hebsyba Saji
etc...
Apart
from classes various activities were also conducted. Song, action songs and
games were conducted during the day.
A
rally was conducted on the second day and about 148 students, 15 parents, Dora staffs,
our programme officer, Tom and Church authorities participated. The rally mainly
focused on Anti-Alcoholism, Smoking and drugs. For this we made placards
revealing the evils of drugs, smoking and alcoholic consumption.
Tea,
snacks and lunch were served to the participant’s. Every students, volunteers
and teachers were awarded participation certificate. Overall the programme was
a bloom to the participants and the parents who participated in the programme.
The parents expressed their gratitude’s towards Dora and to the church for
conducting a summer programme for their children.
